Bigfoot Drop ("the game") is made by Aquarius. This policy explains what the game collects and why. Questions go to support@meetamsai.com.
A random player ID. The game makes it up on your device. It isn’t taken from your phone, your SIM card, or any account, and the game never shows it to anyone.
Your trail name. A nickname the game makes up for you, like “MossyStomper427.” You can change it whenever you’re online, as long as no one else has it. It’s public: it appears on the leaderboards next to the scores you post, so don’t put your real name or email in it.
Your scores. While “Post my scores” is on in Settings, each drop you finish while online sends your player ID, the score, and the trail it was played on. Our server records the time it arrives.
Your player ID and trail name are first sent when you post your first score or change your trail name, so your leaderboard entry can exist. With “Post my scores” off, the game sends nothing about you unless you change your trail name.
The game never asks for your real name or email address, and it doesn’t access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or advertising ID. It has no ads, no ad trackers, and no analytics tools. We don’t sell data.
Like any internet request, the game’s requests show your IP address to our database provider. It isn’t stored with your player record.
Only to run the leaderboards: the top 25 best scores for today, this week, this month, and all time (days, weeks, and months are counted in UTC). We also keep the trail each score was played on, for future per-trail leaderboards.
On servers run by our database provider, Supabase, in the United States, which handles the data on our behalf. It’s encrypted in transit. The only public view of it is the leaderboards, which show trail names, best scores, and when they were set.
Your settings, personal best, trail progress, player ID, and trail name are also kept on your device, and Android’s own backup may include them if you have it turned on.
We keep your player record and scores until you delete them, or until the leaderboards shut down.
Turn off “Post my scores” in Settings to stop sending scores. The change takes effect right away and is saved on your device.
Change your trail name in Settings or on the Evidence Board.
Delete your online data any time: Settings → Delete my online data removes your trail name and every score you posted from our servers right away, and turns off “Post my scores.” If you post again later, a new entry starts under a new name.
No longer have the game? Email support@meetamsai.com with your trail name and we’ll delete that entry within 30 days.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply and, if you asked to join the Bigfoot Drop test, to add you to it on Google Play.
The game isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the game, contact us and we’ll delete their data.
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top.
