This policy covers Tesla Declassified for Android. You ask questions of an AI recreation of Nikola Tesla and get answers grounded in declassified and public-domain documents, with the original scanned page shown as the source. It is the one app we publish that holds a conversation, so it necessarily handles more than our others do. Here is all of it, plainly. 1. The short version
AI chat · No account · No ads
No account, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising identifier.
Your questions go to our server so Tesla can answer them and remember the conversation. Older messages are discarded automatically.
A random code, not you. The app makes up a random identifier on your phone so your conversation and any purchase stay attached to your device without an account.
A name or an email only if you choose to give one.
We do not sell your data, and Anthropic, the AI provider, does not train its models on it.
Delete it all by emailing support@meetamsai.com (see §8).
2. How a conversation works
Your questions and Tesla's answers. The question you type goes to our server (hosted by Supabase), which finds the relevant documents and sends your question and recent conversation context to Anthropic, the AI provider that writes the reply. Your recent exchanges are kept on our server so Tesla can remember the conversation between visits; older messages are discarded automatically. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
A random identifier. On first launch the app generates a random code and keeps it on your device. It accompanies each question so your conversation, your free daily allowance and any purchase stay attached to your device without an account. It is not derived from your identity, your Google account or your hardware, and we cannot link it to who you are.
A first name, only if you offer one. Tell Tesla your name in conversation and it is stored with your conversation memory so he can address you by it. It is optional, and any name works.
An email address, only if you choose. You may enter an email to raise your free daily allowance or reserve a launch price. We use it for that and for launch news, never for advertising, and delete it on request.
Basic usage events. The app records simple events on our server, such as an offer being shown or an answer being reported, tied to the random identifier, so we can fix problems and honour once-per-lifetime pricing.
Reports. Flag an answer and the question, the answer and your reason are sent to us for human review.
3. What stays on your device
Your reading preferences, your allowance counters, the random identifier and the offline answer bank are stored on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them.
4. Who else is involved
We use as few services as possible. In full, they are:
Supabase (our own server) — Finding the documents behind each answer, and remembering your conversation — Your IP address, your questions and Tesla's answers, the app's random identifier, and a first name or email address only if you offer them
Anthropic (AI answers) — Writing Tesla's reply — Your question and recent conversation context. Not used to train AI models
Google Play — Buying and restoring the unlock — Your purchase request, handled by Google. We never see your payment details
Like any request on the internet, each connection shows the server your device's IP address.
5. Purchases
Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your name, card number or billing address. The unlock is recorded on your device and also on our server against the random identifier, so it survives a reinstall, and Google Play remembers your ownership so you can restore it on a new phone. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. About “Nikola Tesla” in the app
“Nikola Tesla” in the app is an AI recreation, not the historical person. His answers cite the documents they draw from, and the original scanned page is shown so you can check it.
7. What we never collect
Your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, calendar, health or financial data, advertising identifier, browsing history outside the app or any biometric data. A first name or an email address is collected only if you choose to give it (§2).
8. Your rights and deleting your data
Our server may hold your recent conversation and, if you offered them, a first name and an email address. Email support@meetamsai.com, including the name or email you used so we can find the record, and we will delete the conversation memory, the name, the email and the usage events tied to it. What the app keeps on your phone is removed by clearing its storage or uninstalling it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California), including to access, correct or delete your data. We honour these requests. We do not sell or share personal information.
9. Children
Tesla Declassified is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
