Is the full text of Ancient Egypt: The Light of the World in the app?

Yes. All twelve Books, Massey’s preface and his appendix are complete, in his own words, divided into 990 parts and cited to the pages of the 1907 edition.

Does the app say Massey was right?

No. It gives his text complete and marks, in notes headed “What scholars say now”, where his claims are not accepted by Egyptologists or biblical scholars today. The reader decides.

Does it need the internet?

No. The whole book is on the phone. There are no ads, no account and no tracking.

Egypt: Secrets of the Gods

Egypt: Secrets of the Gods is an Android app from Aquarius Mobile Studios, on Google Play. It carries the complete text of Gerald Massey’s Ancient Egypt: The Light of the World (1907): his preface, all twelve Books and his appendix, about 553,000 words in 990 parts.

Every part is cited by the page of the 1907 first edition on which it begins.
Each day it gives one teaching from the book, its meaning in plain words, a question to reflect on and an intention for the day, which can be shared as a picture.
42 Days of Ma’at: the forty-two declarations of the Book of the Dead, often called the 42 Laws of Ma’at, one a day in E. A. Wallis Budge’s translation, each with what it can mean in a life today.
The phone’s own voice can read a whole Book aloud, part after part, with six speeds and a sleep timer.
The Trainer holds everything that teaches: lessons and quizzes, a Symbol Trainer of 42 Egyptian signs, and a Word Trainer that sets 86 of Massey’s 1907 spellings beside the names used today.
It shows 14 plates of the 1907 edition, each in its place in the text and in a gallery of its own.
The Parallels screen presents Massey’s list of 270 Egyptian and Christian pairs exactly as printed.
Notes headed “What scholars say now” mark where Massey’s claims are not accepted today. His words are never altered.
The Guide answers questions with passages quoted from the book, found on the phone. Nothing is generated.
An optional daily reminder, scheduled on the phone itself, brings the day’s reading, a lesson, a symbol, a word or a question.
It works offline, has no ads and no account, and collects no data.
Begin with 17 days free on the yearly plan, or read one part of the book a day free for your first 27 days. All Access is a yearly or monthly subscription, or one purchase for good: all twelve Books, the Trainer, listening and the 42 Days of Ma’at.
