What is the akhet, the Egyptian horizon sign?

Akhet, the horizon: the place where the sun is reborn each morning. The Great Sphinx was called Horemakhet, “Horus in the horizon”.

What the sign shows: The sun rising between two hills.
How Gerald Massey read it in 1907: The double horizon, sunset and sunrise, is one of his master keys: Horus of the two horizons joins west to east, and death to rising.
Where you see it today: The ancient name of the Great Pyramid was Akhet Khufu, “the Horizon of Khufu”.
